Kluwek Seed (Pangium edule Reinw) Germination Response to Soaking Time and Concentration of Gibberellin Acid (GA3)

Kluwek seeds (Pangium edule Reinw.) have a low germination percentage caused by dormancy due to hard seed coat. takes about 1 month. The purpose of this study was obtain combination treatments that were effective in increasing the kluwek and reducing intensity dormancy. This used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial design. first factor immersion time (H) consisting five levels, namely H0: Control (0 hour), H1: 6 hours, H2: 12 H3: 18 H4: 24 hours second giberellin concentration (G) with levels G0: 0 ppm, G1: 25 G2: 50 G3: 75 ppm G4: 100 ppm. Data analysis Analysis Variance (Anava) further tested Duncans' Multiple Range test (DMRT) at significant level 5%. results obtained showed without is 6.67%. Soaking using aquades produces an average 28.33%. most treatment GA3 for 60%, while value dormant 40%.Keywords: dormancy, germination, gibberellin, kluwek.
